Buying Baby Clothes

Baby clothes are definitely one of the most fun parts of having a new baby. Keep in mind, however, babies grow very fast in the beginning. So don't go out and buy a million "Newborn" sized baby outfits, no matter how cute they are! Instead, buy baby clothes and outfits in a variety of sizes. Your baby will outgrow "Newborn" size baby clothes within one or two weeks!  Chances are they probably won't even wear half of their newborn clothes.

Buying baby clothes and outfits in a variety of sizes looks something like this. For example, buy ten pieces in "Newborn" size. Ten pieces of baby clothing in "3 month" size.  Maybe fifteen pieces of baby clothing for "6 month" size and so on.  It's important to note, the sizing on baby clothes is not always accurate to the age of the baby.  Sometimes a 4 month old will wear 9 month size tops and 6 month size pants.

All this being said, baby clothes are adorable! So have fun with it!  You can always pass on gently worn baby clothes to your friends or siblings who are having babies.
